What Are You Listening To?

It's been a while since we've got a tidy thread going between all the CLIC sites, so let's do one!

What music are you listening to at the moment?

Any new albums doing it for you? Is there a new single you want to shout about?

Comment below and if you include links to YouTube videos etc we'll embed them so we can all watch them.

I'll go first then, shall I? Being as I started the thread, yeah, yeah?

Okay, Mastodon's new album The Hunter is in my ears on perma-loop at present. I've included the first track from the album, Black Tongue.

So let's hear yours... oh, and we'll be including what you're all listening to in CLICzine issue 5, due out early November!

I recently got myself a smart phone so I have been putting all my music on it which has reminded me of all my old favourite albums like Klaxons, jimmy eat world, muse, rhcp

Also been playing stuff that's been reminding me of this years reading festival! :D

Nooooo! I just wrote a really long comment about all the different music I'm listening to lately and it's been chopped off AGAIN! *sobs into cushion* If this one chops off I'll go AWOL! Anyways, Captain Beefheart's Drop Out Boogie is a song my dad and I listen to- mainly when I'm up his radio show. Thanks to his radio show I listen to a real wide, random range of music these days.

The new Arctic Monkeys album has been played on my walks since it came out. Love it. I just got the new Subways album, hoping it's good but heard it can't compete with first two... still the best live band I've seen though

The thing is, I'm not really a fan of either artists in the mash-up. Happy days, ya?

Nyan Cat? Seriously? That song is soooo annoying! Mind, not as much as Bieber, Rebecca Black or JLS. I'll be kind and not post a video of them but instead, I thought I'd post my brother's music video cause I love this song and would even if I didn't know him....

Anyway, moving away from that subject, I thought I'd also post this:-

It's my mother's favorite Queen song and since she's just come back from hospital, I thought I'd just post it. It's also my favorite Queen. She wants me to learn how to sing it- No way no how.

Oh and being a massive nerd, I couldn't resist this. My two favourite YouTubers, Charlieissocoollike and Nerimon, are in the only ever Trock band (that's Time-lord rock, my friends). For your convenience, here is one of their songs.

Oh and @Sam, I am certainly not interested in the 10 hour version! Who the heck made that? I think I'd officially lose it if I was forced to listen to that! haha. Oh God... 10 hours... imagine that on the way to Anglesey? I think I would've just got off the bus in the middle of nowhere and walked either the rest of the way or just home. Depending on how I felt haha.

Anyway, this song was played on m'birthday weekend and then got stuck in our heads (our being all who slept over) for ages!

This one I've liked for years

This is in my ears right now (I've got m'youtube playlist on)

You guys know I love Miley so I posted this one because this song means a lot to me ?

WELL. I don't know about all that new-fangled music that you kids are listening to these days, but I've not been able to escape my Fleetwood Mac state of mind. As a result, I learnt to play Never Going Back Again on guitar. Go me.

I also went to see The Wombats last week, so every now and then I'll burst into this... It's about as modern as I can manage.

I spent the other day YouTubing Nyan Cat parodies. Time well spent.

This is a song I did originally post before goodness knows what happened. It's doing it on Facebook too. I think the internet dislikes me. Anyway, this song is about the journey Demi Lovato went through with her anxiety & depression which is something I can completely relate to. I absolutely love it and I think I always will :) xxx

I'm home from school bored out of my skull so I'm listening to Demi Lovato's new album, Unbroken, on Youtube and I found this song:-

I absolutely love it. It's been on replay for the past hour. I don't know why but it's like catchy... my music taste sort of changes depending on my mood....
