The new year brings an exciting period for Conwy Youth Council with lots of possibilities and areas we are trying to develop.
These include work on:
- Anti-bullying
- Promoting positive images of young people
- Support for LGBTQ young people (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Questioning)
- Children & young people’s rights
We are now collecting back our questionnaires on how bullying is dealt with in Conwy, and how best to promote children & young people’s rights. You may have been given one by one of your reps or been asked to visit our website to fill it in.
Plus look out for our fresh off the printing press leaflets and posters at a location near you!
Every county in Wales has a plan for how we are going to work together to improve the lives of children and young people.
We developed a plan last year in Conwy. This is an update on how we’re getting on with making the plan a reality.
Conwy Children and Young People’s Partnership is made up of all the groups and services that are involved in the lives of children and young people in Conwy. But it’s also your plan – children and young people in Conwy – and has an impact on your lives and what’s available for you.
We have achieved lots of things in the last year. Download the document below to read some of the highlights:
Next meeting – next Monday 6.30pm at Colwyn Bay Youth Club.
